Our weight loss programs combine clinically approved medications with personalized advice to help you lose weight more effectively. These medications are prescribed based on your health profile and work to reduce appetite or enhance metabolism.
Yes, all medications we use are NICE approved and prescribed by our experienced healthcare providers. We closely monitor your progress to ensure safety and effectiveness throughout the program. All medication have side effects but we will advise you regarding common side effects during your initial consultation and you will have regular reviews unlike most other providers.
All medication prescribed by our clinicians will come with a patient information leaflet specific for that medication.
Weight loss prescriptions for injectables are for 4 weeks at a time.
4 weeks after your initial dose we will arrange a review to discuss your progress and make a personalized plan for you.
We will usually advise you to increase your dose after 4 weeks.
Duration of treatment will depend on your weight loss success and response to the medication. We would expect the duration to be at least six months for most patients however this depends on the individual patient.
We aim to optimise your weight loss with regular reviews which will include lifestyle advise personalised to your needs.
Medication prescribed for weight loss can cause severe side effects if prescribed incorrectly. We do need evidence to ensure we prescribe safely as incorrect prescribing can result in patient harm. Your safety is our priority.
Our consultations are guaranteed to provide you privacy and confidentiality.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with a prescription for weight loss without a video call. We may ask for further evidence of your most recent weight so we can prescribe safely.
If you miss a dose within a 4 days period take the next dose as soon as possible then continue taking your dose weekly.
If you have missed a dose for a longer period than 4 days, you may need to go back to an initiating regime, but it is best to discuss this with one of our clinicians first.
Yes our clinicians are able to provide you with a letter so that you can travel with your medication. Please ask for this during the consultation.
